I love the quote from the Muslim taxi driver "I'm needy, but I'm not greedy. Its better to be honest".
A couple of years ago a violinist called Philippe Quint left his ?2m Stradivarus in a taxi coming into New York from Newark Airport. In this case the driver Mohammed Khalil returned the instrument. To show his gratitude, Quint handed Khalil a $100 tip and free tickets to his next Carnegie Hall concert. He also gave a kerbside recital at the airport taxi rank to an audience of about 50 cabbies.
