>CHILD BENEFIT AT RECORD LEVELS

24% of the children born in the UK last year were to MOTHERS BORN ABROAD.

So we are letting people in, then giving them money hand over fist to have more and more kids.

A trip into many city centres nowadays make a WHITE person seem like the immigrant.

>CRIME DOWN BY A THIRD

Well this is hardly worth commenting on.

The main reasons crime may be down (if it is) is that

a) People dont bother to report minor crime as they know nothing wil be done about it.

b) If a crime IS reportedthe police are too busy to do anything about it.

There is a whole load of "police too busy too attend" examples on the internet, but here a couple

"Suggest you read this to see HOW they get the students"

There has been an increase in overseas students. There has been an increase in UK born students going to university since Labour has been in power.

Taking a balanced view might be difficult, but worth making the effort, dont you think?

You still dont answer the question posed to OEJ about the marvellous things the Conservatives did whilst in power for anybody who wasnt well off?

Yes giving money to the less well off. Its a sin, isnt it?

Those of you who may have forgotten, or are too young to know, may like to see the state the country was in the year BEFORE Maggie came to power.

This mess was under the last Labour governemnt (which is why they were out of power so long, people were scared to let them back into power).

And Maggie did such a BAD job she was only elected into power 3 times.

Note: The "Winter of discontent" below was under a LABOUR government.

Its a very tough problem to crack with regard to child poverty. How do you ensure that the money goes to the children concerned etc.

At least Labour has attempted to help with things like the Surestart programme.

PERHAPS YOU CAN TALK ABOUT THE WONDERFUL THINGS DONE BY THATCHER TO HELP SOLVE CHILD POVERTY.

We give MILLIONS every year to India.

India recently started a space program and they plan to send men into space.

This project is costing them 4.8 BILLION American dollars.

So while WE are getting more into debt, we are giving money away to people who can afford an expensive space project.

But then Brown has always been good at giving money away.

Cant you put this all in one post, dear Guilbert?

It is perhaps worth pointing out
"A record 427,000 people left the country during 2008 around two thirds of who had not been born in the UK, which was a 25 per cent increase on the 341,000 who left the previous year"

Of course, the people who leave this country to go overseas, never have children, do they?

By making the whole country richer, which filters down to everybody.

All Brown has done is drive business abroad, allow hundreds of thousands of immigrants to come here, and give "benefits" to anyone and everyone who wants them.

He is the ultimate socialst.

Give money away, and allow people who want to to sit on their backsides and not even bother to look for work.
