Why do they do that?Im sure theres a good reason but i would have thought it wiser to not let them know your coming?

Ah,i get it now ...that makes total sense..especially if a few SAS get up in the hills first,to relay the intel back to base....

Too bloody right mate, I and most of the news listening population of the UK knew about this operation 3 or 4 days ago which would have given time for the main opposition to move on. The Taliban who are staying behind now are either the hard core holdouts or locals who just enjoy shooting up a few Feringhi's, and this time they have something better to do it with than a few old Lahore made SMLE's

The overall head of the British Army aint a Colonel.
He's a full General.
The spokesperson for the British Army in Afghan is this Colonel Kemp.
