Yep, I was thinking more along the lines of what the BBC are happy to pay for a good location when filming "Silent Witness" or suchlike.

But high end locations are available for hire, should you be willing to pay the price, which I suppose, is my long winded way of answering the original point!

Yes you are correct, it's possible to find great locations even for porn. Problem is the prices are beyond our meagre reach.Even commercial TV can't afford them any more, hence all the reality stuff.I reckon you could make more money renting out a standard 1930's house for TV, than a lavish location.

Hello miss kelly, or should i say 'mistress kelly ' !drool! - dont know about stately homes - I've been sitting on a great idea for a GG scene for ages now- but need a lift !laugh! not a goods lift , theres a very good studio that has one of those - i'm looking for a fairly standard run of the mill elevator like you find in an office block , but cant find one where it would be good/ok to shoot - so if you find me one of those i'll treat you to a visit to Burleigh house when you eventually come visit me and Storm xxx

Earl miller is one of my favourites. He makes the girls jump out of the page and poke you in the eye for leering at them. Ashley Lauren once jumped out of one of his photo sets and my dog ate her! I wacked him with a rolled up newspaper and said "Naughty Dog. Bad Dog". Poor Ashley.

Get yourself a good friend at an upmarket estate agent(Savilles,Lane-Fox,Humberts etc).They have a handle on empty,elegant houses,and are usually looking for income(at least the juniors are).Works for me.
