A commode!
When I was in the slammer(first early days )it was a pot, the size of which, you would now boil your spuds in.
Actually, I was once told that 'commode' was a derivative of "accomodation"! Supposedly meaning that even filthy convicts have to relieve themselves somewhere.
All appro of nothing!

Thanks Tamsin Fan...Er, who's Tamsin? Marcus, as usual, I stand corrected. You're right, I feel like I'm entering your generation. I feel twice as old having put in a hard day at the office- No pun on Hard Days At The Orifice, where the title was inspired of course and a shameless plug for show of same name.

Yep! It was three to a cell until mid 80`s/early 90`s (these are victorian cells originaly designed for one prisoner but now stuffed with three men). God Love the poor bugger who shared a bucket with you Marcus with your whisky poos and all. I know whisky is not allowed but where theres a will theres a way. Gives a whole new meaning to slopping out.
Thats all behind me. Those teenage years spent at HMs pleasure. Never got round to asking HM Betty exactly what the pleasure was about being detained at her pleasure ie when I was 15 me and a mate got pissed and climbed on a roof of a sports centre. My mate broke a few skylights above some changing rooms as a "laugh". Result we both got detained for 36 hours before Plod decided we were both a Menace to Society and charged us with attempted burglary. Hence a silly sentence by local mags. Terrible time was had by all.

Do you mean claire @!#$. I love that script that stops us using her name Phil K. Can you do the same thing for Teresa May? Just a thought.

from rec.arts.movies.erotica
'It is neither wrong nor ridiculous. I'm using the German version of an
U.S. product. Antwort is German and means reply. Sure I could change the
default from Antwort to reply, but why should I. The world is larger than
America and I'm not only using English NGs.'
