A Lousiana judge overturned Obama's six month ban on drilling in the Gulf.

This allows BP etc to carry on drilling.
Where I would agree with the criticism of the US rank hypocrisy is that they have constantly fought against the extradiction of the Americans involved in the Bhopal explosion in India which killed many thousands.
