I have a very poorly thought out theory about 'career' welfare recipients:-
It is that left-leaning Governments are cultivating voters by keeping a pool of welfare dependent citizens. Welfare recipients who have no intention of ever getting off handouts will never vote for a conservative leader. When their brats grow up they will likewise support left-wing parties.
This also explains why some Governments try shifting such people into traditionally conservative areas under the guise of 'integration'. Sure it upsets Conservative voters, but they were already lost. And of course it also helps dilute the Tory vote in marginal seats at the same time as driving some Tory voters away from those seats.
It's an expensive way to win votes which is why socialist Governments tax the arse out of workers.

The underclass ? The trouble is the kids didnt ask to be born.The houses etc are meant for them.Clearly cunt irresponsible parents live of their backs.It wont ever change,too ingrained now.I fear it will only get worse and 50 years from now I'll be pushing up daisies but I fear for the decent people.

"Today i was driving through a deprived(or should that be depraved,ha ha)part of Edinburgh and the usual motley collection of young mothers were out with their brats.I thought why not sterilize them until they can get a decent job and prove they can look after their children WITHOUT state handouts,and remember,the more decent the job,the less tax they will pay.Everyones a winner."
This is very true. There's a woman down our way that has 32 kids, yes 32 kids and she's only 16!!!! She lives the life of luxury. The Jaguar (specially extended for the number of kids) comes round with a chauffeur most mornings to take them down the day care centre. And get this, she has never worked a day in her life!!!!! It really isn't fair at all.
I work very, very hard and through my incredibly brilliant business acumen, unrivalled in my street, never mind my house, I have amassed a fortune, boys and girls. Not that I am trying to show-off, but credit to genius where it is due.
And yet when I travel to Scandinavia and mainland western Europe, do I see the unemployed coining it? No I don't. On the streets they are. Malnourished, disease-ridden and dressed in rags. Now we know why they are all over here !laugh!.
Anyway, thanks Porn Historian for raising this very important point. It's good to think outside the box. After all, isn't that what Mein Kampf was all about?

Porn historian, I presume I will see you marching through the streets of Edinburgh (side-stepping all the tourists, of course) in protest against the proposed "middle-class benefit" cuts? I can only assume you want to cut the benefits of the working/lower classes to keep funding such breaks for the middle classes?
David Johnston: Unlike your incredible talent and business skill, I am a complete fuckwit who doesn't produce anything of any value to society, but Daddy left me squillions of pounds in the bank. He made a tidy some selling guns and bombs to some dictator in a country in Africa or somewhere - and he had to work doubly hard to do that deal via various intermediary countries as the destination country was under um-bongo (or embargo, or sanctions or something...). Oh, and he underwrote the deal via the UK taxpayer via the export credit guarantee which his industry lobbied so bloody hard for, so even if it went tits up then he was still going to make a packet - spiffing!!! Anyway, whatever, he was a pillar of the community - he got an MBE and everything...not sure if it was officially "for services to supporting mass killing, torture and dictator rule" or for something else, though. He also managed to pull some strings and avoid tax due to HMRC for many years, leaving me with a spiffing nest egg in a few Swiss bank accounts. Jolly spiffing, I say. Oh - and on a separate note, of course we should sterilize the poor - they are clearly tax-payer sponging, societal-wasting no gooders. Wouldn't want those undesirables producing useless, talentless offspring, would we?....
