What makes you say that? Not disagreeing with you - just wondered why you think that...

My mistake, but I was under the impression that it was at least finally consummated.

It was but she says that she went to bed with him on the understanding that it was a one-off and to get his obsession with her out of his system. He did sleep with a number of extras on the Carry On films.

The next week he asked for more.

The last time was in spring 1976 when he asked again before he went off on tour and she said no. On 26 April 1976 he died of a heart attack.

I have never found Barbara Windsor in the least bit attractive... how she was the star "sex symbol" when there were others such as Joan Simms, Valerie Leon, Dilys Laye, Anita Harris and Amanda Barrie (to name but a few) around is beyond me. In Carry On Girls (where Sid James organises a beauty contest), Babs is the ugliest of all the contestants!!!

As for her portrayal of Peggy Mitchell in Eastenders... she showed that she couldn't act but merely just reprised the role of "Babs Windsor". Other than 10 Carry On films and Eastenders, her body of work is pretty non-existent.

Talentless and nasty are two words that come to mind when thinking of her.

Don't forget Angela Douglas who was incredibly sexy in 'Cowboy' 'Up the Khyber' etc.

Apart from Dick Moby you are all a bunch of tasteless twattttts.
I couldn't care one fucking iota if she can act or not. As it is she can act a fucking sight better than some. As for being nasty I wonder how some have come to that conclusion. As for her body, I can assure you all that I would give her one at the drop of a hat, even now. I have woken up next to some real horrors in my time and Babs Windsor is fucking gorgeous compared to some I've ridden, even some good lookers.
So, bollocks to you.

Funny Bob mentioned Valerie Leon saw her in Persuaders recently and she made a few soft core films in the 70s looked good in both.
