Wheres your e-mail addy carl? If you want to talk about me being bitter then at least have the bottle to use your email addy. E-mail me now carl as I think we have things to talk about. I reckon you used to post here using the name "me". Call it coppers intuition if you want. Not that a copper could spell "intuition". Ooops!

Now you really are trying my patience. I dont mind a sensible argument but your constant sour remarks are starting to irritate me. I will refrain from verbal abuse as I feel it would belittle me and also result in this post geting deleted.

Now grow up Carl you are acting like a 17 year old. Perhaps you are.

I've been wondering about the possibility of my hard drive eventually becoming "full" even though I keep on deleting material. And what happens if you transfer files to an external hard drive? Do the originals remain on my internal drive?
Talk about inbuilt obsolescence!!!!

Chaps

Cheers for the posts, all I know is that the box was sent off for upgrading and everything was wiped. I can only assume some unaware independant computer tech has my coll'n on his box. You see I'm not that techical!!!

Oh well. I'll check with the bloke, perhaps somefink about important budget files!!!!

When i said i'd hit the button eventually it was reference to one of those life moments when you have to move on (ie the girlfriend finding it!!).

Mr Mann - prev requested a cat from the angels site but nowt turned up!! i'll try again soon. Reserve some for me.

tango, if you are really stuck, your technical knowledge is limited (viz a viz boot sectors, partitions, etc.) and there is nothing dubious on the drive (just covering all eventualities) send me a mail and I might be able to help.
