Worry not, dear Cuntybollocks

"We are lost without his leadership and superior knowledge."

How observant!

Well Maximilian and Cunty it is worth pointing out the following:

1. Labour made a really stupid error of judgement in not taking up the transitional arrangements available to postpone the influx of Polish immigrants.

2. The Asian and West Indian communities that arrived in the 50's, 60's etc were largely invited here to plug the gap in manual workers after the end of World War 2 as well as to help run the NHS. Without these in many cases, skilled migrants, the UK would have really struggled.

3. For non-EU migrants to get in is not particularly easy now. For example, there was that story about a West Indian woman who was initially refused entry to provide a kidney for a family member in the UK who needed a transplant. Thankfully this has been overturned.

4. Maximilian you need to keep in mind that London is probably one of the top two or three tourist destinations for foreign travellers. About 16 million of them visited last year so it is hardly surprising that you are surrounded by foreign speakers. In addition, universities/colleges etc. are actively recruiting foreign students because they can charge double or treble in some cases what Uk students pay.

5. Yes immigration has presented challenges on infrastructure etc etc. but hey, balanced view chaps!

6. Remember to eat your porridge.
