We need to get out before the Euro collapses. Germany is not doing as well as it was and without their financial and industrial power the EU would have died years ago.

In 2013 the deficit as a % of GDP was 0.2% in Germany and 5% in the UK.
Leaving our biggest market is not likely to help.
