I am really not trying to be argumenatative;your reply to my post was responsive & logical. But I disagree that in the U.S., "the law is clear" on the point of hardcore (I left that out of my post inadvertently but you surmised the omission) in conjunction w/ punishment, B&D, etc.. As I noted, it is a de facto prohibition, not de jure; there are NO laws on the books in any American jurisdiction on the subject.In fact, the entire matter is self-imposed by the industry to avoid the possibility of obscenity prosecutions. (I believe there is a list of such taboo subjects somewhere in rame or the iafd.)
