I know now that you always had 2 entries. Obviously you know there are 2 girls, but you're not always right on who did what. That?s always difficult in porn, even more in this case. What I meant by confusing the girls is that we find clips of Noemie in Dita's filmo and vice-versa. Someone reading the filmo can get confused if he read before the databases that deleted Dita and morphed the 2 girls in one. That was my case the 1st time I came across your filmo and was still not truely sure if there was 1 or 2 girls. Because I was reading 1 filmo that had the 2 girls in it, after having read that they are the same girl, it made me think they were one girl (hum... don't know if I am clear???) (A stupid suggestion : maybe an asterix and a link to the other megan cole would help clarify that there are 2 girls. If it had been that way it would have saved me a lot of time.)
Anyhow, when I was talking about databases making 1 girl out of 2, I was not refering to IAFD but to 2 other databases I can't recall their name for sure. Sorry if it came out wrong. My not very good English I guess.

Exemples of different conclusions :
When I wrote that nothing is written about her, you can?t find any infos on her, I still hold on to that idea. I am of course talking about infos available on the net nowadays. I started to look for her in 2004 and the Hot Video article you are talking about (released around 2000) was not available and is still not available on the net. I searched in different sites and did not find it (just links to sites selling issues of Hot Video but no mention of her). So the reality on the net today is that there is nothing on her (or it is f***** hard to find). (BTW, I found a photoset in Bitcherella.com That is something but my comment was an overall statement. This photoset and a few articles written in 2000 that are not available on the net today and that nobody ever talked about before you did, IMHO it is not enough to be in contradiction with my statement: you can?t find any infos on her simply because you can't. Search Google and the net starting from nowhere, not from things you know they were existing years ago. And even then, I had your infos and did not find it.
(If you have a link or the exact date or issue number, I woud really appreciate. Meanwhile I am trying to get infos or a copy of the issue by writing to the mag.)

That is still true. Visiting all the forums (I know) where they look for ID of porngirls easily convinced me of that. Also new movies with the name Megan Cole usually end up in Dita?s filmo.

As long as the choice of name, it was simply a question (?) and that question is good for a lot of other performers. Just a question, not a comment, what is the best name to put upfront, and your answer for this case is a quite logical one.
The only problem (not very important since we have the other aliases, but relevant to amateurs that don't know how to search for their girls) is that we?re going nowhere with that name. I never saw it on a box cover or in opening or closing titles. Doing the exercice of entering Morgan Gole or Morgane Gole in Google (advanced search, exact expression) gives about nothing.

I wrote only EGAFD lists HER. Since I posted links from IAFD I obviously knew she is listed there too. That's my mistake, I was writing mainly about Euro databases and was absolutely not clear about that, so sorry for that one, my mistake. Same for the picture, I saw the redhead picture changed to the one posted here by jj and the filmo getting more elaborate. I also prefer that screencap. BTW, that redhead look is the one she has in Operation Sex?lection and was probably taken on the set of that movie judging by the fact she has same hairstyle and top part bikini that she has on the film.

Which raised an interesting question : In all sites that write the year of production of that movie it is written 2002, but for one site that wrote 2003. Of course they may not know anything about it and 2002/3 may be the year the movie was released but 2000 the year it was shot (what would confirm what you wrote)... unless that pic comes from a later issue than 2000...

...and confirmed also what I wrote that the name Megan Cole was used at the end for a few movies, again it is still true ... allthough you wrote :

Angie Bright = DBM, Germany is fine (I knew about your post and had already found Angie Bright a few months earlier to your post. Remember I am looking for 1 girl while you are looking to ID 100)). Megan Cole, related to Italy is fine. But in whatever year the movies she is Ided as Megan Cole were shot, they were released later in her career and there is fewer movies or clips made in Italy where she is credited as Megan Cole as compared to Dita. Dita in France ? On her 'officially' French movies (La sulfureuse and Operation Sex?lection are the only ones I know) she is IDed as Dita unless you add the Private stuff. You wrote she has many more unlisted I'd love to have these titles (unless it is the Private stuff). As much as I know (now) she has more Dita clips or movies in Italy than in France and much more Dita than Megan cole (or whatever variations). The fact that she was introduced to French readers (who apparently forgot about her rapidly) under a name noone ever heard of and that she never used (as much as I know as I said earlier, no box cover no titles), is quite irrelevant to a fan that is trying to find things about her.

I said that I am an amateur... and I am looking for one girl only like most guys hitting the sites. That is where the databases are important, for us to find our girl. And we have the reflex to not care at all about the other ones. That's why I wrote : the Hungarian black hair girl... Dita... I have no idea where she comes from and absolutely don't care. I just wrote Hungarian by habit (they all seem to be Hungarian when they look like Checz and Checz when they are from anywhere else (a few French girls are IDed as Checz.. quite a reversal of fortune... only in porn).
Being careless as I was about the black hair Hung... Checz republic girl does not show a lack of respect to the work done or any criticism (looking for Dita all this time made me understood the problems the admins of the databases are facing and the effort they are putting in getting it right ... ) So I am sorry if that is what came out of that long post.

Yes, we had titles confused. You have to remember that IAFD had until recently concentrated on American videos and performers. There are 8 IAFD admins adding titles. I'm the only European. I probably wouldn't have made the mistakes because I know of the possible confusion between the two and I would have done a bit of extra research -- or I would have seen the movies myself.
I'm not showing off here. I am sure I make lots of mistakes too that one of my colleagues would have never made if he had entered the data.

You will not find any articles of "Hot Video" on line. As far as I know, they don't have a website.
This brings me to sources and how to deal with them when doing research. !teacher! (This is something I tell my students.)
Two rules:
1) there's a world outside (and before) the net; just because you can't find something on the net, does not mean it does not exist
2) treat any data you find on the net with a healthy dose of scepticism, IOW, be critical of what you find (this is also true for data found outside the net).

Anyway, I still disagree that there is no info on her on the net or that people don't know she exists. Here are some links I have found in a matter of minutes:
- Dita's page on the Private shop site
- information on a title with Dita in an ADT thread (apparantely kafka knows her well enough to make the connection between the Dita in the movie and Morgane Gole in the IAFD database)

I don't know the exact dates or issue numbers. When I have some more free time, I will try to find the articles again and scan them for you. It might take a while though since I almost never have free time and going through all the issues will take a lot of time.

I am confused. What do you mean "now that they are releasing her Italian movies"? They have been released years ago. I have seen a German version of Passions ? Saint-Domingue released by Multi Media Verlag in 2001.


I agree there is a lot of confusion between the two on the net. You have to understand that not that many people posting on forums care that much about a not so famous French pornstar from 5-6 years ago. Still, pretty much every serious database editor I know, can tell these two apart. I know that's true for alec here and Sbando, nop and Frigo on the EBI (and no, Dita is not listed there, because they only have data on East European girls).

btw, the funniest mistake regarding Dita is without a doubt made by Excalibur:

I appreciate a lot that you took the time to look for her and post these links but I think I was not clear from the start and maybe made you look for things I already have. But !happy! you did give me a true valuable info I have benn searching for a long time.

The expressions I used : nothing is written about her, you can?t find any infos on her,? in this context, in my first language, would have meant: nothing that is not already available to who looks for it, and also nothing on her (as a pornstar) instead of on her movies, not simply nothing.

So I know all these links since quite a while. The ADT link with all the aliases is important for those who want to find more about her and don?t have the infos we have (they have a few other ones also, and some that you wrote yourself). The Private link is also good, but I have been in all these forums, in fact in all forums I could find (I speak French, English, I am OK in Spanish and can read, but slowly, Italian) in these 4 languages, so I got all these infos.

You found my posts in Lacochonne. I think I wrote in about every forum that has a thread still going on about her. I even went in forums with languages I don?t know a single word, (names being names?) and found something on a Hungaran site. This is a page from a paysite about a movie with Laura Angel and other people including the name Dita. I did cross-searches and found out it was Regina di Cuori, I didn?t know that movie, it was not listed and I posted it here.


I found other things I didn?t post because they may not be relevant to EGAFD, like the title of that movie in Hungarian ? or this one in Spanish. This movie, La calentorra, is the Spanish title for La Sulfureuse and most movies have their Spanish title. I don?t know if EGAFD want to put movie titles in every language spoken in Europe ? The link can not be enlarged, I don't know why.


The next one is in Italian: Pompini all?Italiana. It is interesting because I never saw it in any other language than Italian. I did not post it because it is a compilation, so usually not listed. Comp.of BJ released by Boss Film. The link is very slow to open. Dita is in the bottom right.

I think alec is interested in adding as much alternative titles as possible. It's one of the most valuable aspects of EGAFD IMO. Don't forget to add the distributor of the different versions whenever you have that information.

Yeah, that's how many porn databases work, unfortunately. We at the IAFD have done a test a couple of months ago. We deliberately added a mistake to a movie's page. The mistake was copied within a week on IMDb.
Mind you, I am sure we copy lots of others as well -- especially through our user submissions. I am sure that 80% of the submissions on biographical data was lifted from sites like wikipedia.

LOL. You make it sound like you are seducing a girl. You know, as in the chase is more fun than the catch.

This is why we 'general' database keepers need the input of the single-girl-followers like yourself. We can't afford it to spend a year to research a single girl. We have to deal with too many data on a daily basis. So we tend to make mistakes and that's where guys (I've never received corrections like this from a girl) like you come into the picture and set us straight.

It's been several years since I have read the Hot Video issues. I hate to disappoint you, but I actually don't remember any seperate photo spread for her and also no in depth interview. All articles and pictures were made on the sets of different movies she was shooting. There might have been smaller articles and interviews with her in their various news sections, but I honestly don't remember. I wonder now if she also was dancer in the French and Italian strip circuit.

I am also beginning to doubt if my previous claim that there are many more additional titles than EGAFD already lists is true. For instance, I completely missed Op?ration Sex?lection on her EGAFD page last time. This was one of the titles I was thinking about when I wrote she had done more movies.

All I can do, is give you this general advice I also give to my students: be prepared to spend a lot of money and time, contact as many people who you think can help you ... and most important of all, pray you get lucky.

Back in the days (easy Walter, you're only going back to 2002-2003) when I wasn't involved in the IAFD and I still had some free time to actually watch porn and REALLY write forum posts, I used to do stupid things, like get all academic in porn forums.

- 10 'quotable' (?) reflections on porn strikes back
- 10 ?quotable? (??) reflections on porn, part IV

Of course, if you bother to check this theards out, you will see that my plan backfired when I had to explain some of these quotes.
