But do the Beaks still make you sleep in boxing-gloves?
And does Matron still administer your 'special' night-time medicine?

I hail from the hometown of Skynrd (tho I have no knowledge of a "Shantyville" section as related in the otherwise excellent "Mojo" article about the band's rise & demise). Nice to know they aren't forgotten in the good ol' U. K..In fact, the drummer on their 1st album, Robert Nix of The Atlanta Rhythm Section, played drums in my brother's band, a LONG time ago.Too bad they didn't sign w/ Capricorn Records tho; I could have in college gotten free concerts from 'em as we did The Marshall Tucker Band & The Allman Brothers (we had the Brothers' 1st ever concert in fact)....let's hear some "Blue Sky" air guitar,jj.

I used to think that neither Eric Clapton nor Greg Allman would live to see 30 & now both are well over 50 & going strong.Duane tragically was lost to us over (can it be??) 30 years ago.
