I actually met Mary Millington in 1978 in a nightclub in Coventry. She was the 'mistress' of a TV presenter who shall remain nameless incase I incur the wrath of Woody or Alec. She was very nice and totally put me at ease as I was only 16 and my first job. I did get a peck on the cheek and we talked about her role in the film, The Great Rock n Roll Swindle with Sex Pistol Steve Jones as I was REALLY into punk at the time. I am not going to bullshit that I got anything other than a few minutes of her time, but I remember being shocked when she OD'd.
