I've been wondering who he is also. As I've seen him crop up in a number of films.

The unknown male appears in "Hotel der L?ste" too. Some caps:

The credited actors are: Gerd M?ller, Herb Seilers, Jean Pallett and Tom Engler.
The males that appear: Jean Pallett, Rene Baar, Thomas Fritz and the unknown guy.

Ralf M?ller is a performer AKA of Rene Baar, Thomas Fritz appeared as Tom in BB-Video releases. Therefore I would say that Rene Baar is credited as Gerd M?ller and Thomas Fritz as Tom Engler. By elimination the unknown male is Herb Seilers.

Moreover: He also appears in one of the 'Pension Almrausch' movies with Dru Berrymore. There he is credited as Ben Bacon:
