Apart from the hardcore vampire ones, Rollin's hardcore films have very little plot, or so it seems to me, but maybe I'm missing something from not perfectly following the French. In the case of B?naz?raf, his 80s stuff seems to be fitted together from almost random footage at times. I think he was the prime example of the ill effects of video. His 70s titles can be difficult to follow, but do seem to have had a more complex story line decided in advance.

For older and younger, maybe films featuring Robert Leray, but I'm not sure of the plot aspect of films like Sensations is especially realistic.

For plot, I recently watched American Pie - the 1980 porn film not the more recent bawdy teen film. It has teens, their parents and aged-30s kidnappers. A pity it's not out on DVD yet as it deserves to be. Also both of the Taboo series, in fact lots of American classic era stuff would qualify. Also If My Mother,,, Only Knew which is available on DVD.

For modern films, Paul Thomas may be a director to take a look at, apart from the Laure Sainclair titles suggested by Deuce.
