As I understand it many US perfs do porn to keep up their [much more lucrative]
strip-circuit profiles. Older perfs do the same to advertise their, um, 'escorting'
activities.
I assume there's a lot of slop-over between these categories : -)

Although I don't really dig mediocrish MILF and 'GILF' smut from erstwhile big names of American porn, it is something amazing and twisted to witness an almost entire adult life as naked as it gets, seeing a horny young lady ripen in front of porn perverts. Wish my favourites could sustain their porn careers well into their sixties.

Some female porn performers have aged rather well (sometimes helped with the aid of some esthetic surgery on face, breasts, lips, nose, etc) and it is exciting to see them in MILF clips and movies, others unfortunately not so well. Some you wish had abandoned their career a long time ago (Nina H. , Sharon M., etc).
Marilyn Chambers and Seka are two obvious examples of porn legends who should have remained legends and not tried to embarass themseles (and their fans) in their "come back". I would put Cara Lott in this latter group. She looked great with that short white blonde hair, petite body and very enthusiastic personality, now with that wild spiky hair, ugly fake books, it is hard to really get all excited over.
Then there are those performers who come back after a brief or very long hiatus and all they do (or want to do) is lesbian scenes.

I'd have been perfectly happy had "Miss" Mitchell abandoned her career before it
started : -)

She loves the "Miss" title, don't know or ask me why, it gives it a certain sense of aristocracy presumably. But she now much prefers the "Dr" title even more for her more lucrative "medical" activities. Funny how certain performers achieve a cerrtain "legendary" status even though they are generally disliked.

I will always associate the "Miss" with Barbara Stanwyck who, while rarely
appearing on anyone's list of Holllywood greats, at least had some merit in her
claim to such singular recognition. I assume it was her publicist's idea- in the
more self-effacing UK such apparent hubris has always been the subject of
open-mouthed derision.
As to "Miss" Mitchell: when combined with the diploma-mill 'doctorate' and the
lofty ex cathedra pronoucements on matters she is clearly quite ignorant about,
that derision becomes hysterical laughter.
