Re convderting erotic novels into porn films, the main problem is the fact that the novels usually focus mainly on one female and porn films have an obsession with doing the opposite. This was less so in the 70s, which is one of the reasons I prefer films of that period to those of the present. This applies to Eveline and lots of other erotic novels of all eras - Emmanuelle for example.

Small irony- Greta S' parents moved to Oz and she spent a fair bit of time there.
However, she has never [AFAIK, and perish the thought] been known to use the
words 'dinkum', 'cobber' or 'billabong'- at least in polite conversation : -)
She did once say in public 'budgie-smugglers' but it was apparently a comment
on the international trade in iliicit ornithological specimens rather than a
reference to beach couture. BTW, 'thongs' are worn around the groin rather

Talking [more or less] of accents: Oz's most successful export is now that slight
rise at the end of a phrase, turning it into a slightly rhetorical question- I've
even caught myself doing it on occasion [and of course have then had to severely
chastise myself for doing so, with the wet tea-bags and the longer of my two

As for accents if the british working clas is a bit naff the aussie one isnt much better...the yanks get our documentaries which feature the rural aussie accent sub-titled so they can understand.I kid you not,
