Was there really any point in your bumping a 2-year-old thread?

The reason all these films have not been added is simple. To post "actress X
is in this [link - if we're lucky - to boxcover]" has the subtext "here's a
film, admins, I can't be bothered to do any research as I'm only interested in
the one girl I like who's in it and so I expect you to drop everything and go
off and spend hours doing the work I could and should have done".
This database is supposed to be a COLLABORATIVE effort. While the admins are
happy to shoulder most of the burden they do not have as part of their remit
the processing of individual fan-projects. If you like a particular girl, fine.
Give us ALL the other info [OTHER cast/caps/scenes] and we'll add the film and
hence the girl. Aside from email submissions Len's about the only one who seems
regularly prepared to do the spadework - I suggest you look at some of his
posts as a general style-guide.

The end-point to all this palaver is that the girl becomes higher-profile and
often more of her titles then turn up. So [as in most areas of life], in order
to get your desire you have to do a little bit of work first : -)

I am only a teeny lightweight in this forum.
My contributions are rather skimpy, but I help as much as I can, althogh my knowledge
of euro porn (and especially German porn, where a lot of posts and info seem to
concentrate most of the time) is extremely limited.
But I am truly and deeply humbled by the generous comments about the quality
and format of my sparse posts. Hope to not disappoint you in furture, but my time
is rather limited as my hands are usually tied up in another Italian forum, where I
also do filmographies and occasional movie review.

I must admit that early on in this forum a lot of postings (done through this section and through e-mails)
provided much info into presence of male performers and actual synopsis and scene breakdown.
Things broke down after a while, and only cast information was all that was available which did not help much when really
digging into plots etc.
My sincerest wish would be for people that have movies on hand and in their collection provide
as much info as possible for plot and scene breakdown. For future generations of porn enthusiasts, it
will be truly invaluable and this is (should be) a good repository for that if we all work at it.

To be fair you were only the latest to post in that fashion - and I felt I
had to say something, if only pour encourager les autres : -)

The major issue I had was your bumping the thread - had you posted your
plea in a new thread it would have been preferable. We have a system [well,
sort of...] that pretty much relies on dead threads staying dead, so it's
somewhat irritating to then have to go around driving wooden stakes through
the hearts of those we thought were safely in Abraham's bosom.
I do appreciate the 'cherry-picking' approach [so many girls, so little time],
but it does tend to run counter to [what I see as] egafd's aims. No-one's
asking you to become an overnight expert - only to take a little time and
effort to do some caps and a rough breakdown. The IDs will come eventually,
or the girls will simply stay as XNKs. And you will have the satisfaction of
being an anonymous piece of posterity : -)

Look at it from an outsider's POV: you're interested in a particular film,
go to the entry, and find... one girl only listed for it. Nothing else.
Annoying, eh?
I'd rather process those 10 000-odd films we can add full details for, than
stick in six million titles with just one name.
4WIW I have about a dozen Cora titles awaiting addition - but as I'm only
me [and sadly I don't have Multiple Personality Disorder] they are in a long
queue of stuff for processing. The will is there, what's lacking is the time.

Why not bump it ? most people look always at the newest posts and I thought maybe some new members have joined since the last time we wrote in the thread and maybe I got lucky and some of them saw this thread and could help with some new info about cora or some old members have learned something new about her but had forgot to share it we the rest of us.

I only want to find some more with her as I wrote in my last post some days ago.

People who frequent this forum have the ability to do searches for a particular performer
or for a movie title.
You need not distress yourself with an "old" thread that has "disappeared" from sight.
They are all there. So if someone was really interested in Cora, your or any other threads
that deal with her could be very easily located.

I know but maybe. somebody knew something that was not in a thread. I think only 1% or less that I know about is something I write about in a thread.

So maybe I would get lucky that some guys have seen her in another movie. Maybe they did not like her. But saw the movie because of another woman and then they also saw her and remember her. But did not write about it.

But I also do not understand why just not add a movie if we know one of the girls name. Why wait until we have them all ? There is a lot of movies out there with girls in them that we can't ID or do not know who they are.

=Again, there is a useful "search" engine in this forum that anyone with no skill
whatsoever can use to find out about any particular person or movie title. If
anyone is really intererested they will find it, before either re-activating an old thread
or start a new one. Actually that usually is the norm (in a discussion forum) before opening
a new thread.
=if you are only posting 1% of what you know, I can't speak for that. What you put in,
is what you get out I suppose. So if you are only putting 1%, you want others to do the same
or go up to 50%, 100% maybe?
=JJ has aready explained the reasons for avoiding opening a movie page if only one performer is known/
identified. What was done in the past unfortunately cannot be undone. The mods have too
much on their hands when there are other more important and pressing matters to attend to.
Even IAFD tries as much as possible to avoid posting a lot of unknowns, and even when they
may even have a single/double porn name (they simply call her a "girl" or the male a "guy" in the
scene breakdown).

Well if I would write a 100% about everything I know I should be 24 hours here every day. I don't think any is online here so long every day. I think most people do as I do. Ask about something if they want to know more that they can't find in search and then they try to help others when they read a post where others ask for help or when they find errors in a guide.

Sorry but I have looking on a lot of forums for cora and no luck.

I only find the dead cora and that is not the girl I am looking for.

I explained that. It's also one reason why the number of bumps is strictly
limited [it's in the FAQs].

Even were I so inclined: you gave no date of release, no caps, nothing.
