I am not interested (much) in the (academic, IMO) discussion which title should be considered European and which title should not be considered European. I am perfectly fine with whatever the powers that be decide is on and off topic for EGAFD.
My question is rather practical/pragmatic. I'm going through my personal database and in the process, I see some Clark and Siffredi titles listed in EGAFD, while others are not. I only want to know if I should start threads devoted to the titles not yet listed or not.
I have already created threads for unlisted movies in the Euro Angels Hardball series because most installments of the series are already listed. But what about the series which are not listed now?

EGAFD is a essentially a database of Euro performers.
I never understood why it should exclude titles that they performed in that were shot either outside of Europe or perhaps financed by other interests.
If a US director shoots a movie in Thailand, eastern Europe, Brazil for a US company (Anabolic, Devil's Film, etc) and essentially and primarily for US distribution, I would say it is a US production.
If Siffredi, Clark, Galanti shoot (for their own foreign production company) in Eastern Europe with euro cast for Evil Angel, they are NOT US productions in the strict sense of the word. They are Europ productions. Evil ANgel (U US company) does not own them nor did they directly finance them.
If a foreign actress works in the US and appears in US financed movies they are US productions. The question remains as to why such titles should be excluded from EGAFD database (neither IAFD nor EBI make that exclusion). The titles should be there (they are after all EURO actresses), and US performers should be bumped off from such US titles.
But if EGAFD really wants to keep US productions off, at the very least it should include the Clark, Siffredi, Galanti movies as these are not technically US productions.

Private movies were never american, even if you may hear english dialogue.
Some Pink'o movies are not American even if you may hear english dialogue.
On the pragmatic level, you have to determine who the movie was made by, who for, and who put up the money.
Rocco, Clark and Galanti put up the money. They hire the talent, they decide where to shoot (mostly in Eastern Europe). They do their own editing, and post production work. Most likely they even do their own box cover art, etc.
They have an exclusive contract with Evil Angel for distribution in North America perhaps some other territory I am not aware of. Just because you may hear the cast speak some broken english does not make them American productions.

This clause is pretty much outdated since IAFD's policy to include European movies (and to a lesser degree EGAFD's decision to include Private releases).
To make it clear, I'm perfectly fine with whatever Alec and the boys decide. I am only asking for a clearcut guideline for my posts, so I don't waste my and the board's time and space.

Yes, hence my question. !whistle!
Let's wait till we hear from Alec, so we (I) know where he stands on the issue. !tumbleweed!

... there's another consideration, alluded to in the FAQ.
Workload.

Perhaps on a personal (workload) level, however it would be truly unfortunate to exclude such truly euro titles simply because there are too many titles out there to consider and to include them in the database.
Initially Private titles were excluded for that very same reason, and yet slowly and surely they started to be included. So there is no justifiable reason for the Siffredi/Clark/Galanti (and other Euro titles) to be kept outside for ever. If not now, when?
I don't think Alec expected to have such a serious baklog when he started the EGAFD database and whern he opened up this forum discussion forum. I don't think it's (i.e. backlog and amount of information) going to get any better for the foreseeable future.
Perhaps the answer might be to seek out more dedicated and learned volunteers much like IAFD has done for its own database.

Agree.

Slowly, certainly- although my original plan to do each series volume-by-volume
soon fell prey to other commitments/distractions.

In my early-egafd naivety I'd planned also to do the Hustlers/Euro Angels
etc. etc.... but most people need to work for their bread, and however
dedicated they may be there is a limit to the amount of time they can devote
to other pursuits.

The more you put off by keeping such authentic Euro titles off the database, and the more you accumulate serious backlog.
As it is, there is a serious +1 year backlog, and there are a lot of recent euro titles that have not even been included or discussed let alone the Siffredi/Clark/Galanti titles that we are now discussing in the topic.
Alec may rightfully say, there is really no time to include such information at present, but it begs the question: If not now, when? The backlog keeps getting longer and not shrinking (from what I understand) so either you open the doors allow those titles for inclusion in or you shut them out for quite a long time.
With the passage of time, it may be more and more difficult to get back to old titles and do a proper analysis of their contents (and we are not getting any younger either).
