Ah shit, don't mind me. Just having a post-Xmas depression moan.
I see all those CentoXCento flicks etc. and despair. Anything with perfs.

It's the way I work.
IAFD and EGAFD work their database by movies and fill in cast names as they
put up movie titles.
In Superzeta forum we have a section reserved for detailed movie reviews,
and a section for strictly performer filmographies. For performer filmographies the
idea is to list all their titles (even if they have done soft ccore work,
and I will occasionally mention magazine layouts appearances, or web scenes
especially for newer filmographies since a lot of performers recently shoot
for web sites.
So I really don't go bonkers trying to figure out who a certain "Silvia" may
be whose name appears on a box cover. I will certainly do my best to
determine who she might be, but I not trying to replicate what is in EBI,
EGAFD, IAFD.
My main concern is with titles, running time, production/release dates, director
name, cast names, and for more recent filmographies what she does in a scene
(with whom she performs) and to try to locate some screenshots of that scene.
In the early older filmographies there was not that much material on the web to
consult or locate so I was basically restricted to box covers. With torrent, P2P and
tube sites it is a little easier to locate some material to include in the movie titles.
And if you have not witnessed this first hand by now, the American
retailer AdultDVDEmpire (free plug here, as I am in no way affiliated with them)
offers the vastest and largest screencaps of any web sites I have yet come
across (mostly American movies, but occasionally some euro as well). Unfortunately
you cannot simply "save" the caps but need to cap each one that are posted there.
I don't know how they do it, but they are the best bar none.
I am grateful for all that material found there, and I always link them
whenever I cap some of their single frame screencaps.
Unfortunately I cannot say the same for Euro web sites. They are the
stingiest and hard to get decent large video box covers (of both sides)
and other relevant and reliable information about a movie title/cast.
I know Orgazmik has been advertising on EGAFD practically from the very beginning
but it is disappointing you can't even get a decent box cover from them, and the 2-3
pics they put up of a scene are severely censored. No clue why they do that.
L'Agenzia Delle Battilografe
Re: L'Agenzia Delle Battilografe
I've got a copy of GdA [somewhere....], it was the other that was more
time-consuming. All done now, anyway.

I am presently trying to work on the Shadow filmography (did not realize how many
movies she appeared in). She has lately done a number of CentoXCento movies,
but I can't even recall one box cover in which her name appeared.
I don't really understand their marketing strategy at all. On occasion they
will do movies with some well known performers (Barbara Gandalf, Shadow, etc), but they will
not show their names on the box cover, while in other perplexing cases they will show
a girl's porn name on the box cover (as part of a title) and yet she is not well known at all.
However, aside from this rather unusual practice they will quite often
provide some very large photos (over a dozen of them) taken from those movies in
a separate photo gallery. So on the plus side they provide a big box cover and some photos, but
more often than not they will not tell you who is who appearing in their movies.
And I don't even want to get in the "mask" thing as I find that totally insane.
They might as well be wearing a paper bag over their head. If I can't see their faces, I am totally
turned off.
