As a matter of fact it's very useful to have all these in one place- with VEF
[for example] I usually have to search by actress, which presupposes that
she's been correctly identified for the film/s, and that I even know the titles

Yes, Vintage Erotica may only be useful if you know the "porn name" for any of those
titles to begin with (and allowing that title is there in VE somewhere), and with performers
who generally use a first name it makes it very impractical.
Anyway, this has been a frustrating experience. I just rechecked some of the links
for box covers and screenshots I included in my posts, and many of them are no longer
working for a variety of reasons. They are supposedly dead, in some cases
they are blocked and unavailable because they can't be hotlinked, etc.
I have stopped adding other titles, as I lost a lot of information when I
attempted a Part 5 a couple of days ago due to problems with this tiny posting window,
and I don't know of a practical way to get around the problems with linking
box covers and screenshots (that later become unavailable). It makes it
difficult for me and for you when you cannot longer access that precious
information and that it is difficult to relocate again with additional Google
searches.

Mailing you (or even attaching a Word document) is only part of the problem.
The other biggie that I had noticed until now is that many of the links I included
in my postings don't seem to be working for a variety of reasons.

It takes time to do all those searches for box covers and screensheets for
some hard to find titles. They seem to work for a few hours or days, and then
boom they are gone.

the link. Now I discover that those links lead you to a blank page or
indication that you can't hotlink that pic. These problems are difficult
to get around, and if I keep finding box covers and screenshots and have to "repost"
them on say imagevenue hoping they will still be there when you get around to working these
titles that takes up of (my) time as well. If there were only a few titles it would
bearable, by tthis Roy Hunter was either churning them out by the hour or
was fronted by others

If the links are gone, I guess that's that.
It seems a bit odd that so many are artificially 'copyrighted'- disallowing
hotlinking of images that are not that site's property anyway- and definitely
otherwise in the public domain- would seem unethical if not illegal. Not to
mention pointlessly silly and not a little juvenile. As said, I'm somewhat
less concerned about the covers thans the raw info....

As to the 'still-live' ones: all I can suggest is saving the images and then
either re-upping them so I can d/l them in turn, or attaching to emails.

Before I continue with the Roy Hunter remaining unlisted titles, I might
as well regroup all that info and see what can be salvaged or located
again. I think that is the only logical way to proceed
I find it extremely odd that some of those links were from Imagevenue, etc
and they were working when I posted them in my messages (and that is only a few days ago).
Now many are "dead", lead to you a blank page, or get an indication that they cannot be hotlinked,
except when I open up the link via another window on my browser that link, you get the same
result. Call it what you like, juvenile, inane, stupid, but that's what I/we are now facing with all
that precious information I was able to gather.
I AM very concerned for the (loss of) box covers and capsheets because that is where
you will see the performers. If I simply list movie titles with a cast of 2-3 performers
with only first names, you will have no clue as to who they might be, and you
have indicated EGAFD usually does/will not list titles in its database without at least
one ID'd performer.
So stand by for an upcoming big post regrouping all those titles from Part 1-4
with whatever I have been able to "rescue" from oblivion....

I have a question as I am going through the titles I have posted
in that in many of the movies the UK performer Jay Sweet either
appears or is suspected in appearing in those movies.
What happens with this info?
Who will check it out?
Will it appear in EGAFD or BGAFD or both and who will transfer it
over to BAGFD, as I do not wish to reduplicate all this information
over to BGAFD.....

The relevant info is passed on to bgafd for inclusion there.
It goes through 'on the nod' as it were, as the source can be viewed as
impeccable : -))

OK, I have combined all the 4 parts of my post in alphabetical order,
have sifted through the information again and reposted much if not
most of the box covers and screens.
So do not pay attention to what was previously posted and concentrate
on this combined repost.
