Well, CentiXCento titles are nonetheless popular (an I assume cheap to produce), although
it's more a question of "what" is in FRONT of the camera, than the camera
techniques used.

Well, I don't think most wear masks because they're shy : -)

The camerawork is also appalling- like they've got a mate in to do it for them,
one who is apparently either stinking drunk or has had some major cerebral
trauma. I get seasick watching. Half the time the camera's pointing at the
ceiling or so close-up that you can see what they've had for breakfast- and
the lighting is atrocious.
The half-decent girls they do manage to snare, like Lara de Santis and Roxana
Ardi [who by her ubiquity I assume to be Magni's missus] are ill-served by this
crapola. During that week recently when I was adding CXC titles to the db, it
was only my unerring sense of duty that kept me at the task : -))

Still, when all's said- if they can manage actually to sell this stuff to the
Italian public, good luck to them- and wasn't it the "proto-Italians" who came
up with caveat emptor? : -)

I am not an apologist for CentoXCento productions.
They are dismal, gloomy, lame, darkly lit. Unappealing and unattractive male and females. Half the time you have no idea who is screwing who.
They usually do not reveal who the performers are, and in many/some titles they
wear masks, which is even more annoying.
There is really no pretence for high production qualities.
Nearly all the titles seem to feature Alex Magni
After watching one, you feel like taking 3 showers to remove the grime and dirt.
Having said that, they have acquired a certain following that seems to prefer amateur
content, average looking people, and direct natural sound (which you do not get with high end productions that are shot inside/outside of Italy with foreign performers whose voices are dubbed).
How many "amateur" Italian outfits do you know that churn out so many titles?
And of course, if you have some understanding of the Italian language, you will have
noted the ridiculous and hilarious titles (which would be rather difficult to translate). that
are slapped on the CxC releases which in many ways are reminiscent of the silly
mainstream (and sex) comedies produced in Italy and France in the 1960's and 1970's

It's interesting though, that the Italians are not alone in [apparently] having
a market for this sort of stuff. Germany is also plagued by reams of such
material. Maybe it's the 'ordinariness' of the stuff that appeals- it certainly
can't be the glamour : -)

I've thought it for eons you choose productions to watch by

1. Producer
2. Genre
3. Pornstar

Not the typical watch what ever shes been in

If that means missing a few or lot of scenes so be it
