"Political correctness" is about respect for others - we're inured to it now as much of the worst of why it was necessary in the first place has gone. It's never been about "personhole" or whether calling McCavity a jock is racist. That's been the way the Daily Mail and Telegraph (those great lovers of porn) have spent years trying to ridicule the idea - because it made their golf club readers guilty in saying the things they had always felt comfortable with (and that are now thankfully a thing of the past). I'm not going into details - anyone who remembers "Mind Your Language" or that Neighbour prog from the 70s knows what I'm saying.

It is far better to confront the reality, whether it is offensive to the spade or not, because only then can you begin to tackle it's real problems. However, this thread has veered wildly from the initial topic, which is as far as I'm conerned GOODBYE THE ADULT CHANNEL, killed by the suffocating rules and blind burocrtic nonsense ever present in this sad little Isle (aka Blair's Peoples Republic).
Why on earth would I want to watch endless tame girl-girl repeats, and if they even editing out what little proper sex there was, then I have no need to continue my subscription. As I don't stay up all night every night, I have enough tapes now, what would I want with diluted versions?
