To add to Tas. If you havent got a valid VFC code given by the BBFC you could be facing more than just getting a raid and your stock destroyed. They could also do you for fraudelent use of the r18 category. No doubt trading Standards would also have a say in the matter.

These people that inspect the DVD's how much do they charge? is it time related?

Make a few films & sell them through a web-site/adult mags etc, sell some to Your Choice as most of us smaller companies do.
The main thing is to get yourself known by the public as this is the only way you'll make money, don't start out with big budgets as home-made can make the same in sales. Good luck with your new venture & as other amateur film makers know we are always there for advice.
