My interpretation of this is that they've not stopped taking "adult" payments. They have just stopped taking payments for those selling R18 films.

If you go to their classified page then the adult section is still there.

Maybe this is a legal reaction to the Pabo and Interfact Court case with Liverpool Trading Standards and they have taken advice from their lawyers or maybe been "leant on".

My hunch is that you can still take all other adult payments as before but no longer R18 films.

However it's a while since I've been in this biz and you guys may well have more information than myself and know something that I don't

Nochex stopped proccessing for R18 DVD/Video *ONLY* when the R18 court case was lost. They are still processing for adult websites at the moment.
There view on R18 sales are...

Ah so my hunch was correct then!

Makes a change as I'm usually miles out with them.

Nochex have just confirmed that they have also pulled the use of their service for access to UK Adult sites with movie downloads / streaming so it's not just R18 tangable sales.

With a bit of luck NOCHEX will fuck right off now, because they are the tossers that were processing every online Pirate in the UK. When we tried to advise them they were processing a pissy pirate on ebay it took them 4 days to answer....good ridance....roll on IPTV....No BBFC....No OFCOM No other fucker to get inbetween the producer and the punter......Live as its shot, the ability to interact all at DVD quality,,,,,even 720 line quality......and yes its on your TV set........keep the faith we are 4 days away new server goes in at weekend and we got our AMD4800's thank you.....
