I suppose it depends whoose word it is,,,I mean its easier to fake up a cert than just about any other document and lets face it it does not help when you can't check up very easy...
When we had meeting in London to help with the problem with testing, I suggested if clinics especially NHS free ones would not hand over writen results but would show anyone who goes with you then a few sellected people could help by going allong with actor reading the result then type it up on BAIHA paper for example..... I mean its about trust, but isnt it about trust anyway....

I fail to see the link between a performer having sex in his/her private life and someone having sex professionally. In their private life is their business but at work people must be expected to act professionally, whether they are professionals or not.
You shouldn't connect private life and work life in this way in my opinion

Hi Neil, I sometimes get a bit pissed off when I see actors/actresses demand all sorts of paperwork to do a shoot then go partying with them and watch them fuck a nobody or a bloke/bird on first night. If you are gonna be in the sex industry then safety goes home with you, many of todays talent have BF/GF out of the industry, a few I know do but very few have their partners tested....Its about common sense.

It's difficult to know what passes for 'professional' in this biz.As a starting point I always write to models I plan to use,telling them details such as:

Date/time of shoot
What to bring/wear
Details of each sex scene,marking the ones they will perform in
Ask the model to advise,prior to shoot,what she will NOT do
Give details of certificates and ID,which she is required to bring.
Confirm payment details,currency,terms etc.
Enclose copy of model release she will be required to sign.
Special notes

If you're organised that seems a reasonable list.Then there are no 'excuses' on either side,time being money!
