Jeez
That could have been me talking, except I couldnt have been so elequent.
It surprises me that professional photographers limit themselves to just adult material. Surely working with glamour only models aswell as adult models would be a good idea. If I was a professional photographer I wouldn't turn Michelle Marsh down just because she is topless only! Why not branch out, if the model is hot who cares what level she works to. The photos will still be amazing

Oh, if only it were that easy. We do this for the money, and selling pics isn't just as simple a snapping away at a girl upto her 'levels' and sending them to a magazine and waiting for the cheques to roll in.

Peter, are you advocating that photographers should always try & push a model beyond 'her level' so that you stand a better chance of being paid more?
Neil gives a very valid example of the fact that (thank goodness) there are models & levels of adult shoots that suit the mass market not just those that neccessarily frequent these pages.
As someone involved in the market but also appreciating that I am/was a member of the audience too, I think it's essential that exploitation of models, photographers & punters is avoided. In a free society there should always be something to suit everyone's tastes but never at the expense anyone's freedom of choice. When we start seeing material that is expressly themed as 'people doing things they don't want to' then the world will be a very much sadder place.

Actually, from what i read in Peters post is that if he was to photograph her, no one would buy the pictures from him, so in theory he would be out of pocket. As he stated he works for a living, so he has to work with those who do, do higher levers any not just anybody. I never read a mention of him pushing girls beyond the level they work...

Not at all, I'm simply saying that virtually all photographers are specialists in one particular field, and its not as simple as shooting a few pictures to the girls level and selling them in a totally different market. Most photographers here would find it virtualy impossible to shoot FHM style shots and sell them to FHM, just as most FHM photographers would find it impossible to shoot a few landscapes and sell them to Natonal Geographic.

A site run for the benefit of the porn industry would probably be the wrong place to advertise your "I don't do porn" services, however.

In my somewhat limited experience of glamour photography, girls will only
work to the level they feel comfortable with.
