Of couse Bill - hence me asking both here and other contacts i have for their advice - however as the email address no longer exisits it would seem that the use of my common noggin has been spot on (btw does anyone here know of any reputable companies that ask girls if they have a digital camera for application purposes? - its a new one on me put that way, however i have been asked to audition for companies via webcam before and took it to mean just that - not something i would ever do as i cant see how any company could offer me work based purely on the strength of a webcam. Lets face it how do they even know that the person they are viewing is me unless its in the flesh and even if they were sure it was me its not a guarentee that id be any good in their movies)

Never do auditions! they either want you or not want you, auditions are just a cheap way of getting compilations for their DVD's that will be made later on.
Some even stoop as low as asking for a model release to be signed at auditions! why? if its all geniune & only for producers to see etc.
After 7yrs in this game you learn to take things with a pinch of salt & you build yourself a circle of trusted friends & expand from there.
When i'm swinging i never would use a web-cam to meet people, we heard of someone recently who was trying to sell interviews of girls & couples used from web-cams, most of todays stars came from the amateur scene so getting footage then to use later can be an earner to some companies.

i totally agree with you Kim - ive been in the industry for a year now and ive never yet had to do an audition for any of the films or dvds ive made (4 in total and a full length big screen film to be made in November).
Either i have the look they want or i dont - end of.
What worries me is the new models get stuff like i did too and fall for the sound of big money so do this webcam thing and at best get nothing from it, at worst get published baring all when they believed what they were doing was for the 'producers' eyes only.
Tis a sad and hard lesson to learn

im sure quite a few performers do but not ones that have been in the industry for less than a year, are a size 16+ with young children and have only a few low budget dvds to their name (such as myself)
I imagine even Jordan would get more than that for the photoshoot they describe but im not Jordan (im bigger - 44dd) and im not Jenna either.
Im not saying that girls dont get paid that much - im just saying that there is no way on this earth that a legitimate company would pay ME that much (does Jenna do audition via webcam? i think not)

Sorry babe but I'm not seeing the problem.
This industry does have it's tricksters of course and normaly they are easy to catch as you have proven much to your credit but surely the key factor to you catching out this person wasn't down to the vast money on offer?
The main thing is you caught them and caught them good using your skills as learned in life so I can hardly see how someone offering good money should ring alarm bells.

You are right in that it wasnt the money that set me off wondering - it was this digital camera for application purposes that started it - then im thinking hang on - you want to offer me up to ?2000 for a shoot when (and heres the corker) you havent even seen up to date photos of me! I could be the size of a beached whale with horrendous skin and no teeth! The email i posted here is the second one i received.
The first one told me that she was a talent scout from europe and had seen my photos and listing at a site (that im not even on anymore - my pics were removed 2 months ago).
So first we have 'ive seen your pics' - erm no you havent - not on that site.
Secondly the digital camera thing

and finally - an email address that only works for one day then no longer exists.

?2000 for a model that caters to a select market (some guy like larger ladies after all) rather than a widespread audience seems a dreadful waste of this companies money wouldnt you agree? thats why the alarm bells were ringing - but not wanting to immediately scream SCAM at them i posted here for a little advice as i did on the model site the email came from.
