Local government don't use terms like SEX LICENSE in this decade just as they no longer use DRINKING LICENSE as it's describing an act which could be navigated for an alternate purpose. So now local government have PEL's and AEL's which cover all things within their catagory.

PEL: Bars, pubs, clubs, resturants etc.

AEL: Lap/pole dancing clubs, Adult shops, swingers clubs etc

Some AEL's do require a PEL to be in place but that depends on the opperation of the buisness.
