Total bollocks Bob....apart from your comment about the price
Which I agree is a pittance

We all know its 'Soft Core'

If I were a first time subscriber who didn't know of this forum I could easily be duped into believing that there was hardcore material to be viewed

Its down to the Adult Channels selling techniques not the ITCs rules

You moan about the adult channels all lying in their promo..

Ummmm.. Did a Mars a day really help you work, rest and play ? I don't think so..

Can anyone honestly admit that after eating Scots Porridge Oats for breakfast, they could go out in the snow and not feel the cold...

Come on guys.. It's artistic advertising license ;) If you live in the UK you know what can and cannot be shown on tv.

Finally please note that it's us that produce the product who seem to understand what the channels can get away with so please stop moaning that you're not seeing full face on action.. It can't be shown in the UK and that's it !!!

I didn't say they lied in their promos...how could I
I've never seen them

I said that several people who had signed up over the phone were led to believe there was hardcore material other than the promos
....which by their 'MOANING' is clearly false

First rule in telephone sales...meet or exceed your targets
Second rule....whatever it takes
Third rule...ignore the first two at your peril

thanks joe for adding to the reputation of 'rip-off' Britain.

There was a story about police raiding 'clip-joints' - bars where people where promised strip shows in Soho (mainly foreigners came to the shows). Lowrey Turner on 'the mathew wright show' said about this that people who go in those kind of places deserve to be fleeced.

Next stop for me - trading standards...

Sorry Bob, but I'm in the Buttsie & other moaners camp! Yes, most people are aware of what can & can't be shown on TV in the UK. The point is that what is promised (offered for sale) is in no way comparable to what is received (bought). Irrespective of the price is that not bordering on fraud? I agree with Joe, maybe trading standards & the OFT should take a look. Lets face it, other advertisers/companies have been hammered for less!
