Read the terms on the Pro Am site and then tell me it's not a scam.
They start by saying in the opening paragraph that they will market the site, but then further down they go on to say that the success of the site will be reliant on how well the model promotes it and brings in traffic to it !hmmm!.
It states that the model will need around 500 pics to begin with and then a set every 3-5 days. How successful do you realistically expect a one model site to be that only has 500 pics !confused!.
They make it sound good by giving the implication that the model will be getting 50% of every $19.95 sign up, they conveniently forget to mention the CCBill commission and the affiliates 50% coming off first.
If it was a genuine 50/50 profit share deal, then profit is what is left after all operating costs are accounted for (that would include the cost of the content), but it doesn't seem to be the way Pro Am view it, it would appear that they are looking at their 50% being 50% of turnover.
The fact is that if Pro Am or anyone else offering such a supposed 50/50 profit share deal, were both genuine and had any confidence in making a site successful, then they would either shoot or buy their content and enjoy the full profit, a successful and genuine webmaster is after all, a businessman. It is a win/win for conmen like this because they are guaranteed to make money, there doesn't appear to be any investment from them other than time and it'd appear that regarding time/effort the model will be putting in considerably more.
