It does work, it's how I put up my clickable links

Above is exactly what I said to do, type "[ url ]" (with no spaces) followed by the address and closing with "[ /url ]" (with no spaces)

This girlie doesn't need a chap to do it for her, ta !pleased!

Nah it's more of a case of people not reading the FAQ's fully. Most people don't feel the need to post links so really never read that far or simply don't bother. Of course the time comes when they do and "tada!" most of us make them clickable with a little explaination on how to do it....
