Yahoo Groups also have a daily dowload limit, so you could just
be unlucky and run up against a temporary block on d/ls.

Incidentally, there's currently what I believe to be a 'hoax'
message going round about Yahoo requiring full profile
information and contactable email addresses before you can
join 'Adult' groups, and a requirement to designate your profile
as an 'Adult' profile. The supposed sanction is that Yahoo will
remove groups whose members don't have a full profile (and we all
know it's not like Yahoo ever need an excuse to remove groups
anyway!)

I am somewhat suspicious, as nobody has yet posted the text of
an Official Notification from Yahoo, and the only instruction to
set ones profile as 'Adult' involved checking a box that would
actually publish ones profile information all over the
searchable Yahoo directory, for the benefit of assorted Spammers
and Ne'er-do-wells.

Anyone else got the real skinny on this? I remain unconvinced.
