Out of interest eyeball, what makes and models are your "top HD cameras"? The reason I ask is I'm suprised in you investing so much money speculatively. Are you perhaps confusing HDV cameras with HD ones?

As a professional cameraman using 'top' SD equipment (ie: Sony DVCAM, 2/3" CCD's and ?10k plus for a lens), I cannot yet afford the ?20k to ?30k for a single 'mid-range' HD camera for my own freelance camera work (mostly non-porn BTW).

Anyway, good luck with your 'offer'; I think it unlikely you will find many experienced girls that would take up your 'offer'. Why not simply fork out a few hundred quid and hire experienced professionals like everyone else does? That way if you are any good, your content should also be reasonable quality; with 'less experienced' or 'camera-shy' girls you might end up wasting your time.

To be honest we have seen quite a few of these kind of 'offers' here by people wanting to get into the business 'on-the-cheap', so naturally people are a bit cynical.

I was a bit sceptical about the gear way back in my first reply. If they were shooting on a Sony F900 or 750, both HD, it would be a first for porn. Nothing wrong with a DVCam 570 either, I've just shot a broadcast series with one.

Yeah? Who says you are any better? You? Ok then. All that expensive equipment and you dont know what to do with it so you want to enlist guys and girls to work on your quality project of flair and imagination but yet you have no track record?

I normally have a track record for being very supportive of newbies in this industry but couldnt help but feel somone was really being dumb enough to come on this forum and expect some model would avail herself for nothing.

Having an HD camera and a few lights may be the tools to make a good film buand you may indeed have good (not necesarily oriignal) ideas but as I've said so many times before, its the execution of those ideas that results in the final product.
