Looking good - where are you based again? and are there any outdoor areas to shoot in?

Based in Dudley w/mids.
No outdoor to speak of, nearest public woods about 20 minutes drive away, or after 6.00 pm or sundays, we are the only people on site, so there is the building site or derelict area 50 yds to the side of us.

You will get an invite for the opening day on Saturday Oct 13th. Free bar, buffet, disco, model shoot etc...

All those focusing on the cars were subsecptible to such triggers, and felt obliged to look at the site and make comment.
Therefore it works.

??? How do you know that 'those focusing on the cars' visited the site?
They are commenting on a photo displayed on a public forum...
You have no basis upon which to say that they visited the site.

Hi Andy

We have other business's that use the cars, but when we first mailed the video guys, we were asked if the studio had roller shutter, which in fact both studios have roller shutters, just that studio 2 is commercial size. Then came the request that if indeed we did have rollers, did we have a convertible suitable for props use. (Bear in mind, studio 1 has been open for 11 months and we did commercial work for 2 years prior, so we were already in contact with many photographers, models and producers).

The fees are only ?25 per hour or special daily rates.
We have the cars mainly for our other business's, and we have been in photographic business for 12 years.
Read other thread to handiwork for info on car pics.

As you are producer, do you want invite to opening day, and the free offer of studio use for a days trial run?

(PS the Z4 runs lovely, better than the audi quattro, jag, mgb gt, merc, honda, e type, triumph stag, ZR, etc.. you must have had a knackered one or hit the wrong switch, or the small kiddy version engine.)

It was a 3.0 and the reason it drove awful was the stupid run flat tyres that are fitted as standard! Couldn't be arsed to change them, so i suppose i was partly to blame.

Anyway, the answer to your question regarding the studio is yes!

We will try and get along to the opening day to have a look around.

Would you say the set up is more likely to appeal to a stills photographer than a videographer?

Although we have the drops and scenes for video, we do not personally do any of this type at present, because the studio number 1 is too small. We reckon the new studio at 2500 sq ft should be ok for video (restricted pan, as sets will be 12ft wide on average, except for dungeon which will be about 22 ft by 40ft, occupying bottom third of studio, next to shower space, disco and bar). Would like people to try video work on free days (i think Union Films, Freddies World and One Eyed are giving it a go), and Ben Dover has expressed an interest.
The props should be really good, and we are bringing in stuff from around the world over the next 2 weeks. Should be full range bondage, fetish, dungeon furnutre, fucking machine, sybian, monkey rocker, gags, masks, cuffs etc., and the props for main sets (Conan Barbarian style swords, samauri? nunchuks? lances, kimonos? screens, Rambo Knives etc (all real, no cardboard) so we hope its ok for video production. (at least it gives you all the chance of different backgrounds, which can't be bad).
