found a model for tomorrow no thanks to let down

Hi guys, thanks for that
I just wanted to know I was being harsh but I think sometimes you have to be.
I have had all day to find another model but if I waited till tonight I would of been stuck all together.
So the studio can remain booked and I have found a model on my list that is free at short notice luckly so I will get the content I want shot.
I have e-mailed the model explaining this and that I would like to hear her excuse and if its a good enough reason then I will consider booking her again.
I am going to post her name on my forum for models to avoid in a few days if I dont here from her at all.
Of course if she contacts me after the post and its a good enough excuse then I will post another message saying that I was wrong of course. I am not into name calling or slagging off, but I do believe after a few lets downs over the years I think other producers need to be made aware that a model may not turn up.
I want my forum to be used as useful information for others to follow.
There is also a thread for models to post about producers/photographers who let them down so it not all aimed at models as I know it swings both ways, but something needs to be done and my rule is, 2 days before I want to know if the shoot is still on, then if they say no, I have a day to find a girl as its even harder trying to find one the night before when you have a studio to pay for.
There is nothing solid that will stop them still not turning up on the day but thats the risk you take.
Again everyone, I am here to shoot serious content for my site and I have cancelled about 3 times in 4 years and that was for reasons I think were good enough, the excuses and no word at all I have had over the years from models isnt good enough and I know we all go through this.
