Purestorm Reading your PM messages

Once again i post in praise of the Purestorm site.
I have just done a count of the models and photographers who have joined the site since Monday this week 16th and find the totals so far are UK only.
Models 78
Photographers 23

I know a lot of them will fall by the wayside and could be time wasters but that's a hell of a lot for under 3 days.

Yes a lot are fashion and glamour only but everybody has to start somewhere but if you look you can find a number of models who post on this forum

I think the site is designed for amatuers only , and why not!
Yes i read a lot on this forum from professional producers condemning the site but is it really designed for them.

It would be a good idea for Purestorm to start a professional section for producers and models looking for professional work, even at a small fee

I like Sandie's point that she can check the photographers profiles to see who they have worked with and and feedback they receive. Good thinking girl. The same applies to photographers to check up on models

At one time Be-Seen-Here and Model Heaven used to be the main sites to find new models, but one has disappeared and the other does not seem to have many new models judging by it's updates
Of some of the other sites from most of them you are very lucky to even receive a reply to any of the emails you post. I think we all know who they are.

While i am at it, I see there has become a lot of backbiting on the forum this week with models condemning photographers and vice versa and photographers condemning photographers.
Surely this should be done in private.
I am the first to agree that if it is found that any models come to harm from photographers that should be exposed on this forum if only for other models safety and to warm them off. As in the case of the girl last year.

Leave all the backbiting to the O/T forum.

I?ve commented a lot on PureStorm. As I?ve said before their problem in part is categories. If a model advertises for Topless work and also clicks adult then I assume adult is levels higher than topless.

There maybe loads of new models on there everyday but 80% of them are just dreamers and will never do anything. Maybe to charge both photographer and model to put up a profile would be the answer.

Soon there will be very few legitimate photographers/producers of adult type material left on Purestorm. That will just leave amateur photographers shooting ? er?. whatever they shoot!

I always thought that was what the Purestom site was designed for anyway.

I didnt report you, but if you sent the same message to lots of girls asking you to message them off site, then once messaged offsite you ask them to do something that is way above their limits & also banned on PS, as you did to me, then someone else may well have reported you.

I was offended by the fact you mailed me on PS asking levels & rates, which i gave you, then you asked me to mail you direct, which i did & you again asked for my rates & whether i did hard boy girl (gonzo). Which ment you hadnt read my profile or read my original reply to you that had my rates & levels & wasted my time.

If you did this to other models, im pretty sure it would have been reported, whereas i dont tend to report things like that.

Im not trying to make trouble, im just stating what may have actually happened.

No even legitimate photographers/producers are forced off because of other peoples banners on their site which is crazy, if they went through everyones site on there they would all be suspended. Thank christ for decent sites like Glamour Finder & Adult Work which are straight forward & have the balls to tell you why they do what they do without making up lame excuses.

Guys, if you use PS just to gain work, it is actually a very good site. Yes, the mods are a pain in the arse if you try pushing the boundaries but if you stay within them, it's fine.
Searching for models is also very easy if you are only looking up to G/G.

I've made my opions clear about Purestorm on the thread which I started a while ago. Fantastic site, but run by ignorant fuckwits.
Following my suspension, after a seventh email I did make communication with someone who informed me that they didn't approve of my line of work, ie bdsm, which is why they wouldn't reinstate my account.
The references system on there is indeed very good, and I was building up a good list of positive feedback from models who had worked with us. However, I setup a new Purestorm account and tried to make contact with a couple of models who had contacted me previously and explained that my old account had been suspended. Guess what? They didn't want to know and my messages got ignored! Surprising seeing as in this first instance it was the models who had contacted myself looking for work.

I have refered to the site admin harshly, but to be fair I have drawn the conclusion that it was possibly a complaint from models which resulted in my suspension. A lot of the girls on their are obviously up their own arses. I always contact people politely and treat people with respect, but obviously some girls have been offended by my work offerings. The work I produce is not boy/ girl in a sexual way and many girls do not see it as b/g. However, I have also had abrupt emails from girls saying 'Look at my profile, it states no boy / girl!'

I have another Purestorm account, although I am really reluctant to make contact with anyone through it, apart from the girls who contact me first. I daren't even want to ask all the girls who previously left me feedback before to do it again on my new profile incase I get wiped out again.

Use PS only if you really have to is my adivse.
