Sorry just read your post properly, there isnt a true word in it lol... I am tempted to copy and paste it on a couple of the adult boards... but for a laugh, I would love to see their response lmbfao !

Dude you really aint got a clue... ever heard of the business phrase... I would rather have 10% of a million that 100% of a thousand...

An affiliatte will bitch if they see something on their site that they feel isnt good... for example I see so many people with traffic leaks... if an affiliatte is sendign thousands of unique visitors to your site then he doesnt want links to other sites (traffic leaks) that will mean his traffic may go else where... but instead I see people who would rather exchange links with a few sites and get themselves a few hundread hits this way...

Are them employees... more like partners, paysites need free site guys, and vice versa... if you think your the boss and they are the employees, then thats probably why you already got issues with them...

Anyways sure this is all falling on deaf ears... I will go Alexa your sites and see how many millions back your ranked lol

I think the important point here is that my experiences have obviously differed vastly from yours.
I am sure that perhaps you have dealt with more reasonable people than I and as a result you see this area in a more friendly light.
I agree totally with the quote regarding having a small percentage of a large amount or a large percentage of a small amount but it all depends largely on whether or not you can actually find people who will earn the right to be called partners - as you have described them and do their job well.

I might change your phrase slightly and say that I would rather earn a reasonable amount in a long-term business than a large amount in a short-term one... You see that you avoided my main point which was that the affiliates I have come into contact with actually caused damage to the business in one way or another.
And I have also seen several very successful model sites ruin themselves by transforming from porn sites to practically TGP sites with a few member galleries tacked-on to the side.
I am fine with your comments and welcome them - I'll actually take the opportunity to genuinely thank you for making them... but one thing I will say is that you make the incorrect assumption that I'm not actually doing as well as I want.
