Thats true William and the downside is also just as bad with many people who call themselves producers cancelling on girls as well and I understand the statistics for timewasters, predators and stalkers have gone up now the price of cameras have gone down.
Like most of porn its a grey area but I hear what you are saying.
Call me a cynic but i think I'm a realist.

Thats why a good agent knows the directors personally, has a depth of knowledge in the industry and can supply the talent with good reliable and safe jobs.
I guess thats what the agencies are there for right? Most producers and directors I know may not always use agents for all their talent but for sure they will be aware of who the newest faces are on the agencies and will be keeping good tabs on whats hot on each of the agents portfolios.
Also as a performer, most of the time when someone asks you for recommendations then you will be able to either direct them to your respective agents website or just have a look through your phone and call your industry friends...
Right?

My site pretty much does this - no actual emails except for hotmail / live users though (due to their anti spam being so aggressive).
Agents can list their models.
Tip - when messaging a model, give them full info, not "wot r ur rates".

Its easy to understand everyones point about girls data being available for everyone to see etc, this site is a good source to read about models, to speak to models & arrange shoots with them. As for being the main resource site it only has info on mostly Pro models so depending on your needs also try
http://www.adultwork.com as it as 100's of models Pro/Am which can be contacted.
lots of smaller producers don't always have the funding to go through agencies so sites like AW come in very handy, also try
http://www.glamourfinder.com as this is also a great site & again allows you to contact models & gives direct links to their sites.

Hi Kim,
I know not everyone will want to go through the database, especially amateurs (and for the record I have nothing against amateurs as it is always amateurs who seem to want a pop at me) those of us who make a regular living from this would like to see more stringent measures in place.
The industry has expanded tenfold in recent years and it stands to reason the more people in it the more risks there will be.
The only division I see on this is that people on the database may be reluctant to work with those who are not if they cannot see their results.
The data protection issue is well thought out by the legal team behind the clinics who also infome me that the moment you got your tests done you were already on a database anyway s(o dont know why there is more fuss being made about this)
I for one think this is a good thing and if amateurs are happy to work the way they have always done then i see no problem with that either.
Its all about choices after all.
