You are such a pessimist. I have been in the adult entertainment industry since the Sixties and have made my living solely from it. Any film that I make is worth thousands to distributors and I have sold films for much more than that, in fact I usually keep the video and DVD rights myself these days because most distributors are only offering two grand for the non exclusive rights. Private offers 16K for well made films with six scenes in with good looking girls, for example.
Of course the films that I make have a beginning, middle and an end and are scripted, unlike the boring wall to wall rubbish that every intelligent viewer is sick of.
You would be surprised at how often I make films that are published under under other names!
