BGAFD used to be a industry resource, sadly now its an extension of MSN or Myspace.

I used to love this place !sad!

Now its nothing more than a dozen people bigging each other up, or togs/producers rehashing the same stuff over and over again.

I'm glad someone finally rised that question. I've been thinking the same thing for months.

Unfortunately , just by deciding to reply has now bumped this thread, but be that as it may thought maybe I should be the one to comment as it was my birthday that started it all.

A number of togs/Producers - Professional !bow!/ Semi pro or even Amatuer /Models/studs/ fans and even sometimes the guy who makes the tea at halftime during the shoots!thumbsup! - either know each other personally, know each other thru their respective fields or expertise etc etc .

BGAFD is a forum open to anybody prepared to join - to comment negatively or positively on anything they like, to do with the industry. Its a site for the actors/actresses to vie for work and its a place for discussion on pretty much any subject going - but in some ways (and please excuse the hankerchiefs at dawn) it is to a lot of regular contributors not unlike a virtual family - in some ways quite dysfunctional !grin! but a family just the same.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion and yours counts as highly as anybody elses - it might just have been a little nicer however to perhaps have voiced yours as a completely new thread and not add any (although beleive me when I say - extremely minor) negativity to the many nice comments from extremely busy people who took the time out because they know me either personally or virtually to wish me a happy birthday.

Special thanks goes to 'storm' for wishing me happy birthday in the first place and for the wonderful pressie last night - given time and extensive therapy I may walk again......!laugh!
