Yes I've noticed that previously, in fact someone did likewise with my Kareena shoot, I contacted the person explaining the pictures have a model release signed to myself for my own use on my profile. and he apologised.

The Forum removed them as did the image providing host (Imagebam).

But what is the copyright law for those pics that I take and show in my private gallery?

As I have a signed model release stating the images can only be used on my profile etc.... which are signed by the model and myself, in fact if you try and save the images from Adultwork this message pops up "All images on this website are copyright protected by their respective owners and may not be used without permission." Does this provide any cover for those trying to rip off my pics?

And if they do try and use them, what action can I take?

I found plenty of my pictures of other peoples pay sites, and so far as soon as they receive an email from me, they are removed pretty quick, but again this only happens when I actually find them!!

In LAW you own your copyright and, short of a public interest defence - e.g. a model stands for Parliament on a Moral Majority platform - you control them, at least as far as anyone who wants to make money is concerned.

I agree. Blurring their faces is not a guarantee one of your members doesnt post it somewhere where they will find out and you might want to advise them of this.

Ive always stated this with people and videos and pics where they hide their faces are crap anyway because no one will buy it if they cant see their faces in the members area

The face is the most crucial part. I'm not talking looks but facial expression is what makes a great porn film.

In short, there probably is a marketing angle you can profitably exploit from a "blurred in public" tease, but that very same tease that brings subscribers to the private gallery is going to encourage someone to try re-distributing the unblurred pictures elsewhere.

If unblurred pictures are published anywhere, however exclusive the forum in which thjey are published, they will almost inevitably get out at some point unless they are up for such a short time that virtually nobody sees them (and you thus make almost no money out of them!).

You cannot give an absolute guarantee to the models, no matter what kind model release you draw up, that their faces will not end up in the public domain, with whatever ensuing difficulties that may cause for them personally and socially.

If they accept this, and sign a waiver to the effect that you will not be held responsible in the event that they are "outed", go ahead and try it and see what kind of commercial opportunity is out there.

Otherwise, if they're that hot, just photograph them for your own personal wank collection and give up any idea of making any money off them

I often use to approach girls to pose for me and more often than not i would get the same response they would agree only if they could hide their face, it seems that a lot of girls hold a fantasy to be a glamour model but only if they can keep it a secret, but if the girls are as fit as you describe then go for it because once a girl gets in front of a camera they often get turned on and loosen up and you may get more than you expected !wink!

How did it go when you did it before with that large-busted model whose face you covered up but who was readily identifiable anyway to those of us who have photographed her in softer poses?
Did your traffic go up or down then, because you marketed it in much the same way if I recall?

A responsible producer has a duty to ensure a model is entirely aware of the consequences of what she is getting into, this is particulary true for what are essentially "teenagers"

If she or they want to do anonymous stuff, surely that tells you something..?

Tell them straight.."if you are going to get your kit of and shag a stranger on the internet, people will see it...probably people you know..."

If you can handle this, fine...your choice, if not, forget it.

Anything less is dishonest (in my opinion)
