Further AITA announcement regarding HIV scare

Not wanting to play devil's advocate but did the clinic say it made a mistake or has there already been an inquest with a verdict stating the clinic was at fault?

A false positive result doesn't necessarily mean the clinic messed up. The correctly followed testing procedure on an HIV negative person can produce a positive result.

If the clinic says it made a mistake with in the testing process that led to the incorrect result then I retract my previous comment.

In any case, I'm glad the confirmation test came back negative. !happy!

I have to agree with Billy looking at some of the comments it all seems as clear as mud. Am i right to ask these questions?

1. The original failed test took place in January?
2. AITA informed by the model 48 hours ago?
3. Has the clinic spoken with AITA or documentation been seen?
4. Has the model worked since the original test?

Their identity is relatively common knowledge but I'm pretty sure it's still not to be discussed here until further notice. One person's post here was edited as it had their initials.

Hmmm the facts of this are really weird to me... so someone was told in January that they had failed a HIV test... and only announced it to the industry like 4 days ago ? Is that right, cause that's how I am reading it...

I take it between January when they found out till now they haven't done any more work right ?

Someone needs to me a precise statement backed up with facts...

If it's true and not just Chinese whispers that the initial test showed it then the model in question needs a long hard look at themselves because I know they have been on numerous shoots in the past couple of months.

Might be bullshit though and I hope it is.
