1) The government/ATVOD have been misguided and tackling UK small businesses is pissing in the wind if child protection was the key issue
Its always been a back door approach for the government to get control of the internet to impose more laws and prevent the Julian Assanges and Bradley Mannings of the world so much freedom to pass on information that could not only damage the government but protect the likes of the Cyril Smiths, Jimmy Savilles and even Ted Heath among many others from embarrassing or worse implicating people higher up in power from exposure...But yes of course thats the stuff of colourful conjecture and typical conspiracy theory stuff
Or is it?
2) Chris Ratcliff was the single adult provider on the ATVOD board, and indeed the one that changed their direction towards global free-porn tubes as the places our young eyes are drawn to. And more than that, being able to back that up with audience figures to prove that concentrating regulation of UK commercial sites really is pissing in the wind.
Pete Johnson was told this. He just has selective hearing because his single focus was to rein the adult business in. I doubt being in it is going to make any difference.
Blocking credit card payments just pushes traffic more in the direction of free content to the tube sites which is designed to get traffic first and foremost.
Traffic is virtually like currency to the tube sites business model
