Not sure I agree with everything in the above posts and have some time for a number of your points
For example, if the UK market is "drying up" might that have something to do with the product, which, as you rightly point out, is a bit narrow in scope?
The US market certainly isnt dead and I would imagine it cuts across most age groups
I agree with you about the threesome issue. I think FFm is certainly highly erotic ( and can be as good in real life) and yet it is portayed less often than other combinations. And DP is just yuck
I think you are in line with some posts I ahve previously made, which is that too little porn has a playful erotic element as well as great sex betwen partners enjoying themselves
I have been thinking of some production myself (although there is alot to consider). Maybe theres something to this

I produce videos.
Contact me directly with your ideas for making shows you guys want to watch. Remember that I do not have a Hollywood budget.

Hi i agree with some points that the UK porn industry is behind in some of its ways. But i think in the states there is more support from fan based groups, in a certain way. maybe there are things we can look at to improve the UK scene.

I think most of the gripes are with the image Britporn portrays.

If you show a girlfriend a Private DVD, with stunning women, handsome men, expensive clothes and glamourous settings and she somehow seems to forget the girls are being reamed silly by three blokes at a time!

Show her a cheapo britporn effort, cost about ?1000 max, rough arsed tattooed slappers, ugly blokes and a dingy bedsit and she starts on about female exploitation.

If the Brit product was better produced and got away from the now very tiresome gonzo image then we might see a pick up in sales among younger people and couples.

The dirty old man iamge will kill Britporn unless it develops some class.

Well, authentic tits, certainly, but not necessarily big. Look at the huge popularity on this site for girls like Sarah Daykin, Karina Clarke, Karina Curry, Angel Long, Kellemarie, Sammy-Jayne and Amy Ball to name just a few. Not many big tits there.

The "huge popularity on this site" of which you allude to only extends to about a dozen individuals who congregate here to pay homage to the parties in question. The vast majority of ordinary punters who spend the dough and buy the videos (but can't be arsed to come on the bgafd and talk a load of ball-bag with us) do not know they exist and do not care. If girls do not have tits and bums they do not show up on the average guys sex radar. I fear this is a clear case of the 'Deluded Forumite Syndrome? which was highlighted by magoo last week. Hey, I know it's easy to fall into the trap of accepting that this microcosm of the bgafd represents the tastes and aspirations of the whole British porn buying public. But it doesn?t, it only represents a minute proportion of it - the fanatical proportion! The proportion that might have difficulty looking at porno issues objectively and in the wider context of popular culture and mainstream society- some of the reasons I find it so fascinating and compulsive!

I based my observations on various customer questionnaires and market research carried out over the past decade and on the purchasing habits of adult movie fans in the same period. You're quite right in your observation of "not many big tits there." The question I would like to pose is - could this be a factor in the much discussed phenomena of today's geezers not being to keen on airing their wallets in the vicinity of modern porn videos? It certainly is in my case. I wouldn't dream of purchasing a porn video with 4-5 skinny/scraggy blonde birds on the front cover. I'm afraid I don't find anorexia the slightest bit erotic. And as a distributor, investor and producer I would no alternative but to shoot any marketing man who sanctioned such a video cover when my dough was at stake.

Alas class porn costs money

Porn is a business not a charity

No one in the current saturated market is going to outlay good money with no reasonable return in sight

The comment by Ben Dover about his American distributor not paying for his produce until a later date speaks volumes about the real state of play in the porn market

The current state will remain until the laws are changed and capital is invested.A long way away I'm thinking

Buy what you like and ignore the rest...

If you can't find anything you like don't bother

cheers

To call any of the girls I mentioned 'skinny', scraggy' or 'anorexic' is (a) nonsense and (b) bloody insulting.
