'cos I really, really cannot think WHY... but I am quite proud of the fact - no, very proud of the fact that throughout my 11 years with the service I have never had a day off sick...
I know I get no better thought of... And when I'm feeling as disillusioned and demoralised as I am now; when we've been demonised by gov't, media and huge chunks of the public, well... I really can't give an answer as to why I wouldn't ever take a day off sick - warranted or otherwise... just not in my nature I guess.

Pervert, as its the same location as BGAFD2, then it will be upstairs at the Six degrees Bar, 56 Frith Street, London, W1. A nice little venue IMO.

Search the Archive forum for references to the first two BGAFD events to see why the location is not given on the forum. Do as steve56 says and e-mail Wendy.

Just out of interest, why would you need to know the exact location to book hotel and trains? As Wendy said in her original post, it's at a bar in Central London. Surely that's as specific as you could possibly need?

Go to the archives to see why venue can't be disclosed. I f**ked up major by 'revealing' the venue and was promptly deleted which is just as well.
