Mick, if you are so convinced you are doing everything right, why is your product not selling in the UK? Because quite clearly, you are NOT doing everything right.
I found your posting to be arrogant and bitter - and it seems you think you are doing the customer a favour by running a business. If you were a charity I'd have sympathy - you're not, you are in this for the money. Nothing else, plain and simple, because by your attitude it's clearly not for the love of it.
Big deal if you post regulraly to this site too. I did a search on your postings and they are nearly always an advertisement for your web site. There are many people who post here and have nothing to sell. So for you to come and bitch and whine to people that you just regard as 'potential customers' is total hypocrisy.
I run my own internet business totally unrelated to porn and I have experienced the same problems with the UK. I check for demand of a product, and the moment I release it 'zip'. But I don't set about the 'punters' telling them that if I choose to go into business then they should be there to support me and make me rich. I either change my marketing or change my products.
I also don't see how you can think you can just "piss off to the USA" and make it out there. The market is totally saturated, you're not going to get any kind of visa and believe me, USA customers are much less likely to tolerate such a stinking attitude as the British.
Why don't you just change your business instead of trying to change your customers? Or just change your attitude and your approach - and stop seeing business through an US and THEM perspective.
Better still, why don't you make all the content of your site totally free, take a web marketing course, direct a 100,000 hits a day to your site and fill it with advertising, pop-ups, dial up software, re-direction, old 'off the shelf' content, lying 'free access' claims and suspicious credit card forms and then you can be just like 99% of USA web sites and screw us punters royally like we deserve.

I'm not a fan of watching hand jobs, or blowjobs. So I'm never going to be a customer. You're aiming at a part of the market so if Britporn is small, yours will be smaller still.
I must agree with most of the replies, if you're in it as a business you can't complain if no-one is buying. Well you can, as I have done at various times over 30 years of marketing, but it's bugger all use.
A central problem for the whole industry is lack of research. We only guess at the size, judge what people like by looking at competitors and tend to do our own thing and hope it sells.
You might consider trying to get some information by organising a poll on your site. Then start making what the punter wants.
Would this sell?

Would red hot big breasted lesbos getting it on and amongst other food related ideas, ejaculating single cream (after a creamy vaginal enema) and of couse licking up every drop, be a turn on for anybody?

Didnt say I was commenting on the product. One doesnt need to see the product to comment on business state of affairs.
Your other comments, by and large are fair.
But let me ask you another question then - are you supplying the one type of product to both markets US and UK - in most Products ( adult or non-adult) you will find that different markets require different Products - even with only slight differences.
Large brands that you know here Nike, Coke, Johnnie Walker whisky - they all selll thsoe products here in the UK and the US - but put the product side by side you'll see there are differences ( packaging , product, marketing ,etc) for all their US v Uk products.
I think 2 years is too soon to walk

Bobbi's right - the posting is not, in my own opinion arrogant, but its bodering on it, which Mick, is what I meant by point number five in my first response about customer repsect.
Yes its worth it - large oaks from small acorn grow ( do you have any idea what Nike's corporate account said two year after launch?)
The decision is yours - you either want the UK market and are prepared to keep adjusting your Product and investment to suit or your not - very few people every made a million ( or indeed anywhere close) overnight.
It's a long haul - buy a ticket for the ride or jump off the train now.

Forgive me for commenting on something I know little about - however, I'm assuming that you're pretty much relying on your own site and BGAFD for exposure...
That being the case, your marketpolace is rather limited and constricted...
Have you given any consideration to partnering with any of the producers out there?
On top of that - being urely BJ/HJ vids - I am almost certain that these would gain a R18 rating... that being the case - and I know the costs are HIGH - have you given thought to getting them rated and then trying to sell through the high street sex shops?
I really do understand your frustration - but I think your exposure is perhaps limited to a rater small marketplace....
