I have to say this happend to me too. I got there about 10am being the first one there. Was told I was working with a felmale model who didnt have her test with her. I refused. So I got to work with another female model. Didnt get round to my shoot till about 6.30pm. My shoot was very rushed and you can imagine how hot it was being a stuffy room all day.. Just as I got going they said there wasnt enough time and scrapped my shoot. I didnt get paid either - not even travel expenses. Have to say it was very disorganised.

Is this the same Miles Parker who used to operate out of Soho a few years ago?
The agency who booked her/them should vet clients before any deal is made. Most do not, they just take any damn thing that comes along

Well the agency are not at all happy with what happened and have invoiced them for Emma's Fee and travel money i'm not having a slanging match with know one but my fiancee has no reason to lie besides she called me around 3pm and told me she still hadn't gone in to do for scene but had done her stills in the morning and had been in make up since 10am.
I never started this thread to have a slanging match i did it to explain about a models experience with them and i'm sorry but every other assignment my fiancee Emma has done has been great but this company i'm sorry to say in my eyes are a waste of peoples time as they are so disorganised, but i can say one thing the agency will not be using them again

I heard about this story and I have to say that although every story has two sides, I tend to believe Emma and Dave on this one.
I've had dealings with Miles Parker in the past and none of them have been good!

thank you John like i said before we both have no reason to lie and i'm very protective of Emma as i know there are ppl out there who say and do the opposite in this business as has been pointed out in one of these threads.

I dont think Dave's spelling and punctuation are relevant. There's no need to highlight that.

Very good point! The guy clearly means well in highlighting the kind of experience that does the biz no good whatsoever. His spelling, grammar and all that's got nothing to do with it.
Sandie and John Mason, even though they're on different sides of the argument, make valid points which is what we thought the forum was about and not snide comments.
o/t Dave's spelling

Dave,
I sympathise with your plight and my question may seem entirely unrelated, but as someone else brought it up I thought I?d mention it anyway.
I?m fascinated by pornography almost as much as people that can?t spell, and I?ve always wanted to ask this question:
When you try and spell a word (such as anarchy) do you ever look at it and think? ?I don?t think I?ve spelt that correctly? or do you assume that you?ve got it right or do you think it just doesn?t matter?
Also, in view of the fact that you are aware that you can?t spell, have you ever considered using a spell check? Even a dictionary?
The reason I ask this is because if you do take such an active involvement in your fiance's business, your own level of professionalism may be deemed equally as important as your expectation of others. Personally speaking, if I had any correspondence from you and I saw how bad your spelling was, I would think you were ignorant and therefore ? by definition ? easy to exploit.
Just an idle thought. Feel free to flame me.
